In 1993 we introduced an intensive formalised Vermiculture training program, with overhead slides, manuals, exams, computer aids etc. based at our head office at Lemon Tree Passage N.S.W.We have never let up on refining this learning process and information. Our head office is the hub of our dealer network and we created our successful but limited Vital Earth Associate Grower network, with our unique guaranteed buyback scheme, this has become a strength strength behind the success of all our Associate Growers, who now operate in all states of Australia. Three. We perfected a unique and proprietary recirculation and enhancement technique for liquid cast in 1994, that today gives us and all our Associate Growers, the leading edge in quality, consistent, organic liquid fertilisers. This in fact was an industry first, not just for Australia but for the world and our company is proud of this very important contribution. The growth in the liquid sales area continues for our company, along with increased sales of top quality solid Vermicast. In 1996 we developed a computer program just for Vermiculture, we engaged a recognised marketing company Freedom Management from Queensland to develop the Business plan. click on their site above and go to Results to know more about us. We also commissioned a chartered accountant to develop the Microsoft Word and Excel interactive spreadsheets, this is the plan we use. This software can be purchased directly from the Vital Earth International however it is now in our all inclusive new offering on CD ROM. Five. On March the first of 1998 we launched our company developed Easy Rota worm separators, after a full year of research and development, once again leading the way with an innovative new product that works safely, and efficiently, to separate the compost worm from the vermicast. Since March 1998, this product has enjoyed healthy sales, with over one hundred units built and shipped Australia wide, and overseas, into a variety of markets such as commercial worm growers, councils, dairies, waste contractors, liquid cast producers, piggeries, schools, grape growers, and hobby worm growers. This clearly indicates a healthy industry looking for innovations, beyond simple bath tubs, and windrows. Six. The original Vital Vermi-Converter developed by the Vital Earth Comapnay and launched on the first of March, 1999. The Vital Vermi-Converter is a product purpose designed, and holding Australian & International patents for application in the vast commercial organic waste elimination and organic waste conversion industry. This project will require an enormous quantity of compost worms, causing a welcome boost to the income of commercial worm growers. Plus it will now go on to solve local organic waste problems at the location the waste is produced, and meet tough new environmental laws in Australia and overseas, thus offering a very real solution and means of meeting the new environmental laws now in place in NSW and SA and reaching out around the world. We can really say even without ownership of a crystal ball, that there will be no return to the bad old days of incinerators, ocean outfalls and smelly rat infested tips on fire, as a method of organic waste disposal. Organic waste reduction and conversion at the site where it originates from, will be the ONLY acceptable means of waste reduction and conversion. The original Vital Vermi-Converter lead the way. The Vital Vermi-Converter has taken Vermiculture into the new millennium in Australia and world wide, via a significant, multi-million dollar industry catering to substantial organic waste elimination via Vermi-reduction and then via Vermi-conversion to value added natural organic fertilsers, currently gaining ground as consumers look for non-chemically grown produce.
